Quotes

Your quote sets out the work we have agreed to do: the crew, the vehicles, the date and anything else listed on it, such as packing, storage or clearance. It is based on the information you give us about the property, the contents and the access, so please tell us if anything is different from what we discussed.

Changes on the day

If the job turns out to be materially different from the one quoted, for example more to move, different access or a wait we could not have planned for, we will tell you before we carry on and agree any change in price with you.

Payment

Payment is as agreed on your quote.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or move your date, tell us as soon as possible and we will do what we can to rearrange.

What we will not carry

We cannot carry hazardous items, illegal items or perishable goods, and we will not carry anything we have agreed to exclude when quoting. If you are unsure about an item, ask us before the day.

Your responsibilities

  • Arranging access to both properties on the day.
  • Arranging parking close to the door where that is possible.
  • Packing anything you have chosen to pack yourself, securely and ready to load.

Storage

Stored items are held at our warehouse in Cookham. Access to your items is by arrangement with us, and storage charges are as quoted.

Insurance

We hold insurance for goods in transit and in storage. Ask us for the current cover details.

Liability and complaints

If something goes wrong, contact us first so we can look into it and put it right. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
